Born and raised in Owen Sound, Kara is proud to call Grey-Bruce home with her three wonderful children and her husband, Wayne. Her passion for law was ignited in 2004 when she became employed at a local law firm, which allowed her to work alongside Hon. Justice Clayton Conlan, Federal Prosecutor Elizabeth Barefoot, Federal Prosecutor and Hon. Justice Hugh O’Connell and Justice of the Peace Terry Steenson. In 2012, studying at a private college in Brampton, Kara completed the Paralegal Diploma program with Honours and was licensed by the Law Society of Ontario in 2013. Without hesitation, Kara opened her own practice as a paralegal and business owner in her hometown of Owen Sound.
In addition to advocating for her clients and raising a family, Kara began teaching in the Law Clerk program at the Owen Sound Campus of Georgian College in 2018. As a Paralegal and a Landlord herself, Kara loves sharing her knowledge and passion of Landlord and Tenant law with her students. After many years of experience and success serving as a paralegal, Kara Muzzell launched Muzzell Legal Services Professional Corporation in 2019. Today, Kara continues to build her team of dedicated legal professionals to provide unmatched service at competitive rates.

Emma joined Muzzell Legal Services in 2019, shortly after completing a Field Placement with the company, as part of the Paralegal Diploma requirements.
